The hardware was tucked into a carved out notch on the backside of the shelf, which now we can use as a secret compartment! (Seriously, no one would find it there if you wanted to hide some keys or cash! 🤭) The metal drywall mounting brackets didn't work (or we just weren't using them correctly?), but we had other drywall mounts, so it wasn't a problem for us. Highly recommend these high quality shelves. 👍
